First of all, I'd like to compliment you on the great wealth of originality in your gallery - very refreshing!

Your use of pattern is a very intriguing element of this image - it would be nice to see it developed even further. Although, there is always a delicate balance between going overboard with pattern and not having enough. I think the image as it is now has a good amount of pattern, and adding more could be a good or bad thing depending on how you handle it.

I like your use of colour as well, the bright yellow is very eye-catching.

As the image is now, without a background, makes it feel more like a drawing rather than a painting. I'd like to see a lightly patterned background to go along with the chicken, but your image still stands well as a drawing.
